This matwork-based workout focus in strengthening the body with an exercise repertoire specially designed to help participants enhance the flow of body mobility, establish core strength and stability, and heighten mind-body awareness.

Matwork, the foundation of STOTT PILATES® exercise, builds knowledge and strength from the ground up.

The Instructor works through an exercise repertoire using the props (Toning Balls™, Flex-Band®, Fitness Circle® etc) that challenges strength, firming, toning and flexibility to create a strong and healthy body. Layered with modifications, this workout also illustrates the Five Basic Principles – the core elements of the STOTT PILATES® method.
